NiakVIO adds a maintenance, testing and repair layer between community provider sources and Nuvio clients.
The project
Providers can break after a domain, API, player or client-side behavior change. NiakVIO automates part of this maintenance while keeping validation in the loop before publication.
The goal is not to collect the largest possible number of providers, but to maintain a useful set with enough evidence to understand failures and compatibility.
Multi-client validation
- Comparison of several variants and sources before promotion.
- Separate validation on Mobile, Desktop and TV.
- Identity checks for title, year, season and episode.
- Bounded repair, sandbox learning and preservation of the last known healthy state.
- Atomic, fail-closed publishing to avoid silently replacing a valid state.
A maintenance engine, not a host
NiakVIO maintains manifests, metadata, compatibility rules and provider bundles consumed client-side. The project does not store or host video content.
